More services on offer as accountants merge

TWO of Worcester’s accountancy firms are merging.

The Richards Sandy Partnership in Barbourne Road and Howard Painter and Company of Sansome Walk are joining forces.

Partners of both practices have been working in Worcestershire since the mid-1980s, providing expert business and tax advice to clients across the West Midlands.

The businesses will operate from Worcester’s former Old Eye Hospital, the newly refurbished Thorneloe House in Barbourne Road.

All 21 professionals from both firms will be based there.

Rob Richards, who is also chairman of the Worcestershire Group of Chartered Accountants, said: “We are delighted that Howard Painter and his team will be joining us at the Richards Sandy Partnership. We have been looking for a likeminded practice to join us to help build up the range of services that we offer and feel that Howard’s practice is an ideal match.”

Mr Painter said: “I have known Rob and Nick for many years and feel that their practice philosophy of providing a personal, friendly service coupled with high quality professional and proactive business advice, suited my practice style and my clients’ needs.

“I am looking forward to working with them in continuing to provide a value for money but high quality service for our clients.”
