Wallers means sausages once again

HOMEND butcher Dave Waller clearly knows his bangers, having been highly commended in the West Midlands Tastiest Sausage Competition for his breakfast sizzlers against 80 regional competitors. But a delighted Mr Waller is no stranger to success, having earned three firsts and two highly commendeds in previous years.
He said: “What is the secret? It is tender loving care and the quality of the pork.”
The competition was judged in Birmingham last week by banger-lovers and celebrities, Kay Alexander of Midlands Today and actor Tom Graham, who plays Tom Archer in The Archers radio drama.
The high-profile event coincided with Farmhouse Breakfast Week.
