A CUSTOM-made mountain bike valued at £4,000 was stolen during an overnight break-in at a home near Bosbury.
One or more thieves forced the padlocks on the garage door, containing the bike, and also broke into a shed of the property, in Lower Southfield Lane.
The incident occurred some time between 7pm on Tuesday, March 9 and 7am on Wednesday, March 10.
Gardening equipment, including a Stihl-make chainsaw and brushcutter worth another £2000, were stolen from the shed.
The bike is a Santa Cruz Blur, in black and with silver lettering.
Herefordshire police would like to hear from anyone who is offered the bike or who may know its current whereabouts. Anyone with information should contact Shirley Knox in the public service desk at Hereford Police Station on 0300 333 3000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
