Jennifer Aniston described her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as "surreal", as she became the first Friend to receive the honour.
The Horrible Bosses actress, wearing a Chanel 50s-style floral-print dress, was joined by her actor dad John, boyfriend Justin Theroux and Wanderlust co-stars Malin Akerman and Kathryn Hahn at the ceremony at Hollywood Boulevard.
"I cannot explain to you how surreal this moment is. This is crazy literally," she said.
"I was born in Sherman Oaks, California. I am a California girl through and through, and I'm sure this has always just sort of been in the back of my mind. It probably wasn't even a dream, it was one of my wildest dreams. I don't think that I ever even thought that this would be here, this day."
The 43-year-old, who next stars in romantic comedy Wanderlust, thanked her father, her co-stars and fans: "So I am utterly humbled and grateful... You have all helped me up and allowed this moment to happen."
Adam Sandler, Jennifer's co-star in Just Go With It, gave a short speech about the Friends actress, referring to her beloved hairstyles and her role in 1993 horror Leprechaun.
"She prayed for three things: to have everyone in the entire world be fascinated with her hair, to one day star in a movie about an evil leprechaun who kills people, and most importantly, receive a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Today, Jennifer, the trifecta is here," he quipped.
